BRIDE
Melissa graduated from KU in May 2011, with a degree from the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications. Melissa spends her days working in Overland Park, Kan., as account executive at JNA Advertising. She eagerly awaits Logan to finish his schooling and CPA exam so that she'll have the opportunity to go back to school and obtain her MBA degree. When not working, you can find her planning for the wedding, swimming, running and taking dance classes at Point B Dance.
GROOM
Logan finished his undergraduate degree in accounting from the KU Business School in December 2011. Currently he is interning at Rubin Brown, an accounting firm in Kansas City, devoloping his tax and auditing skills. Starting next summer he will be attending UMKC to obtain his Masters of Accounting degree and soon after finishing his MAC degree he will be completing the CPA exam. In his scarce free time, you can find him working out, playing computer and video games, watching movies, surfing the web and entertaining Melissa.
HOW WE MET
In May 2008, Melissa first started working for the City of Lawrence as a lifeguard, Logan had been working there since his junior year in high school. At the first staff in-service of the summer, Logan briefly introduced himself. A couple of days after working their first shift together, Melissa called and asked him to meet her at The Jazzhaus. The sparks started flying fast and the rest is history!
